Testing & Education Reference Center now offers Basic Computer Skills tutorials as part of their Career Tools module. Specifically, interactive, video-based tutorials for Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, provide instruction on creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations and databases.
To access the Basic Computer Skills tutorials, go to the library's website and "Search for Articles & More." The Testing & Education Reference Center is listed under College, Careers & Test Prep. If you're accessing from home/outside the library, you'll be prompted to enter your library card number. Click on Career Tools and you'll see Basic Computer Skills listed, along with a number of other career resources. You'll be prompted to register a username and password so that you can keep track of your test scores and progress.
