eResource of the Month for April: Testing and Education Reference Center

Taking the May 3rd SAT? Peterson's Testing and Education Reference Center provides effective online practice tests and books for the SAT, including the Subject Tests, as well as the ACT and the PSAT. For the SAT, for example, registered users receive three (3) full-length timed practice tests designed just like the actual SAT. Get 90 days of access to practice with all new SAT question types—essay, grammar, short reading passages, Algebra II and more. Because every student taking the SAT faces the same set of questions and is given the same amount of time to answer them, you can prepare as much as you can in advance and maximize your score potential—and your chances of getting into the college of your dreams.

If you're not sure what college you want to attend, you can use the College Search section to explore a comprehensive database of two- and four-year colleges and universities. Peterson's also has the largest database of scholarships and grants to help you pay for your education.

If you're pursuing your graduate degree, the Graduate Search, which includes a section on graduate scholarships and grants, covers graduate programs, law programs, M.B.A. programs, distance learning programs and graduate nursing programs.

Peterson's Testing and Education Center isn't just limited to college prep, however. Test prep resources for basic skills and job skills assessment, high school placement exams, state assessment exams, college credit (AP, etc.), graduate school entrance examinations, nursing, civil service and specialty licensing exams, military entrance and career placement are all included.

Peterson's Specialty & Career Program Search let's you explore vocational schools, career colleges, information technology programs, executive education programs, and private secondary schools.

Whether you're headed for college, planning for graduate school, or starting a new career, you need supplemental resources to improve your scores. Get them for FREE with your Fauquier County Public Library card.
